The current Flying Fox Farm was built in 1960 by Jack Connelly who was a local trainer who had moved here from Illinois.  At the time he thought he might lose his clients since Shea was a dirt road and they didn’t like their Cadillac’s getting dirty.  Everything worked well until 1974 when I purchased the stable.

I have owned an run the stable since then.  Many changes have happened over the years but it has remained a “stable” business.

We have added a dressage ring, round pen, new corrals and many beautiful trees.  The barn was so well constructed it has not needed many changes so it is pretty much as it was in 1960.  We recently upgraded our jump collection so our jumping riders are happy.

Many words have been used to describe Flying Fox Farm but my two favorites are” peaceful” and” having good karma”.  It is a little horse oasis among the fancy houses of Scottsdale.  We do not discriminate against any kind of horse. All breeds and disciplines are welcome.  All the horses are well fed and happy.
